Spirituality is a specific expression of man's spiritual origins. Its main manifestations are conveyed through cognition of truth, feel for the beautiful, and engagement with morality. More than two thirds of senior teenagers granted their priority to morality, with special emphasis on honesty, sensitivity and dignity. Responsibility and faith were rated somewhat lower in comparison with the former ones; and altruism and solidarity were placed last among the above listed values. About one third of learners acknowledged the importance of intellectuality, but only one fifth of the investigated learner population found admiration important. There can be certain differences observed in the treatment of man's spirituality for the real (familiar) personality and for the ideal (abstract) personality. Those differences convey a range of teenagers' attitudes. The most marked inadequacies expressed in percentage can be observed between the teenagers' desired achievements on the one hand, and the authenticity of behaviour among family members on the other hand (63,4); in the same way, the following ratio was found with reference to: readiness to accept responsibility for one's own action (54,8), telling the truth (53,5), independence (39,5), tidiness (39,5), natural manner of behaving (36,4), bravery (32,8). Both real and ideal personality traits were valued in a similar way, to mansion a few of them: unselfish interest in other people, sensitivity to beauty, disapproval of negligence, trust in God.
