Miškų plotų didinimo perspektyvų vertinimas: Telšių apskrities pavyzdžiu

Lietuvoje ir visame pasaulyje didėjant aplinkos taršai, anglies dvideginio koncentracijai ore bei stebint akivaizdžius klimato kaitos pokyčius visuose žemynuose, kuriamos strategijos kaip sumažinti rizikingus procesus, todėl vis labiau atsižvelgiama į miškų plotų didinimo naudą. Šio straipsnio tikslas – išnagrinėti miškų plotų didinimo perspektyvas Telšių apskrityje. Tyrimo metu nustatyta, jog šiuo metu Telšių apskrityje miškingumas siekia 36,7 proc. bendrojo ploto, o nuo 2014 iki 2021 m. miškų žemės apskrities teritorijoje padidėjo 3,72 proc. Pagrindiniai miškų veisimo būdai yra želdinimas, natūralus miškų augimas bei mišrus būdas, derinant želdinimą ir natūralų augimą. Dėl teikiamos Europos Sąjungos paramos Lietuvos kaimo plėtros projektų veiklos srities „Miško veisimas“ Telšių apskrityje 2014–2020 metų laikotarpyje įvykdyti 62 miškų veisimo projektai. Atlikus erdvinę duomenų analizė nustatyta, kad Plungės rajono savivaldybėje yra didžiausias tinkamas miškui įveisti plotas – 1345,5 ha, Telšių rajono savivaldybėje – 552 ha, o mažiausias tinkamas įveisti plotas yra Mažeikių rajono savivaldybėje – 92 ha. Iš viso Telšių apskrityje tinkama įveisti miškus 0,46 proc. bendrojo apskrities ploto teritorijoje. Rietavo rajono savivaldybėje naujai įveisti miškus tinkamų plotų nėra. Miškus įveisti tampa keblu dėl to, kad tinkamos miškui įveisti žemės patenka į saugomų teritorijų tinklą, reikalingi dideli kaštai bei dėl sodmenų kiekio trūkumo.
In Lithuania and around the world, considering the pollution of carbon dioxide in the air and monitoring the obvious changes in climate change on all continents, strategies to reduce risk processes, therefore, the benefits of increasing forest areas are increasingly being considered. The aim of this article is to examine the perspectives of increasing forest areas in Telšiai county. During the research it was established that currently the forest cover in Telšiai county reaches 36.7 percent. total area, and from 2014 to 2021. forest land in the county territory 3.72 percent. The main methods of afforestation are afforestation, natural forest growth and a mixed method combining afforestation and natural growth. Due to the support provided by the European Union in the field of activity of Lithuanian rural development projects “Forest breeding”, 62 forest breeding projects were implemented in Telšiai county in the period of 2014–2020. After the spatial analysis of the data, it was established that the largest suitable plot for afforestation is 1345.5 ha in Plungė district municipality, 552 ha in Telšiai district municipality, and the smallest suitable plot is 92 ha in Mažeikiai district municipality. In total, 0.46 percent of forests are suitable for afforestation in Telšiai county, in the total area of the county. There are no suitable reforestation areas in Rietavas district municipality. Afforestation becomes difficult due to the fact that land suitable for afforestation enters the network of protected areas, high costs and the lack of seedlings.
