Abstract (en)
Alongside with the renewal of the independence of LR the reorganization of the education system started. Teacher education corresponding to the ideas of the new times became topical. The following questions were put forward: to what extent the present teachers suited the new requirements in education, what should be done to increase their active participation in the new processes of changes, as well as education of a new teacher generation what we are going to discuss in our article.
