Šeimos reikšmė aukštesniųjų klasių mokinių profesiniam apsisprendimui

Abstract

Atliktas 109 aukštesniųjų klasių mokinių, gyvenančių kaime ir rajono miestelyje, profesinių apsisprendimų tyrimas. Gilintasi į tėvų vaidmenį formuluojant ateities tikslus. Nustatyta, kad sėkmingam jaunuolių profesiniam apsisprendimui reikšminga pilna, bendraujanti, įtraukianti jaunuolį į bendrą darbą šeima. Labiausiai paplitęs tėvų taikomas orientavimo būdas – skatinimas mokytis ir pritarimas jaunuolių pasirinkimams. Kaime gyvenantys tėvai kartu su vaikais ieško informacijos internete, miestelyje – skatina vaikus dalyvauti atvirų durų dienose būsimose mokymosi įstaigose. tyrimas atskleidė profesijų tęstinumo tendencijas – kaime gyvenantys jaunuoliai planuoja, kaip ir jų tėvai, dirbti žemės ūkyje ir įsigyti žemdirbiškas profesijas, o miestelyje – pratęsti medicinos darbuotojų profesijų tradicijas. Šeimose puoselėjamos vertybės adekvačios profesinei veiklai. tiek kaime, tiek miestelyje gyvenantys jaunuoliai nurodė sąžiningumo, atsakomybės, pagarbos vertybes, puoselėjamas tėvų šeimoje. The vocational choice of 109 upper secondary school students residing in rural areas and small town was investigated and the role of parents in formation of their children‘s future plans was examined. It was established that a complete and communicating family, which involves a school student into common tasks, is necessary for a successful decision on career choice. The most prevailing form of guidance applied by parents is encouragement of their child to learn hard and acceptance of choice made by a school learner. Parents in rural areas search for information on the internet together with their children, and parents in towns encourage their children to attend the open days’ events in their would-be schools. The research revealed trends of continuity of vocations: learners from rural areas plan to work in agricultural sector as their parents did and to acquire qualification related to agriculture; school students from towns plan to continue vocational traditions of medical employees. Values of family are adequate to professional activities. Both the school learners from rural areas and from towns indicated that honesty, responsibility and respect values are fostered by their families.
