Straipsnyje analizuojama profesinio kryp-tingumo problema. Atliktas profesinio kryptingumo tyrimas, kuriame dalyvavo Busimųjų pedagogų fakulteto klausytojai (BPF), I ir IV kurso dieninių ir neakivaizdinių studijų studentai. Skirtingi kursai pasirinkti tam, kad būtų geriau atskleisti busimųjų psichologijos mokytoji} profesinio kryptingumo ypatumai. Analizės duomenys parodė, kad busimųjų psichologijos mokytojų veikėjo profesinių interesų lygis skirtinguose kursuose yra aukščiausias. Busimųjų psichologijos mokytojų stipriai išreikštas dalykinis ir silpnai - profesinis-pedagoginis kryptingumas.
The aim of the article is an identification of the peculiarities of professional purposefulness of future teachers of psychology. The investigation involved future teachers of psychology, including 64 senior pupils that study psychology at the Faculty Pedagogues, 38 first- year extramural students, 41 fourth-year full time students and 31 fourth-year extramural students. The investigation had been carried out at Vilnius Pedagogical University. For data collection procedure, the Questionnaire on Professional Purposefulness of teachers had been closed. On the base of the obtained results of the investigation, we can state what level of professional interests dominates among students of different years. Special professional level of interests is highest at Vilnius Pedagogical University (12,5%), then is falling down and on the fourth year becomes equal to the minimum (7,3%). The indicators of the professional purposefulness of first- and fourth-years full time and extramural students were compared. The difference X between groups of the first-year students of full time and extramural students is not statistically important, because (t = -0,073, when p = 0,942). The difference X between groups of full time and extramural fourth-year students is not important as well, because (t = -1,226, when p = 0,224). On choosing the profession of teacher of psychology7 a strong professional pedagogical purposefulness is important. The subject-oriented purposefulness of mature teachers of psychology is expressed strongly, however, their professional pedagogical purposefulness is weak. Because of this, a majority of mature teachers of psychology has no internal motivation for an engagement in pedagogical activities.
