The article presents research results on humanistic behaviour. The research was carried out with 331 2nd - 4th form pupils in different cities of Lithuania. The data showed that their behaviour with teachers and parents was humane enough since most children were sensitive and frank with those people. Usually pupils retain their dignity, too. In their association with adults most of all they7 lack sense of responsibility because usually only 21% of the primary school pupils keep their promise with teachers and 25.7% with parents. However humane relationship with their classmates is a rather sore problem. When associating with the children of the same age, the 2nd - 4th formers often lack frankness and sensitivity. Only about 4.5%-21.5% of children listen to each other's problems, console, help, protect in difficult situations and 9.4% share their things, plans, worries, etc.
