J. A. Komenskis knygoje „Elėjo šauksmai“ kelia aktualią problemą - visuotinio gyvenimo pertvarkos idėją. Apeliuodamas į valstybes, tautas, religijas ir bažnyčias, visus geros valios žmones, Elėjo lūpomis autorius nori išsakyti susikaupusias žmonijos problemas. Pasaulio pertvarkos globalinę koncepciją J. A. Komenskis ragina įgyvendinti tautoms, valstybėms ir valdovams, bažnyčios tarnams ir tikintiesiems palaikant humaniškus tarpusavio santykius.
Czech humanist J. A. Komenskis in his work “Elias’ cries” declares the idea of humanity renovation and reconstruction. The author wants to unite nations, states and religions. Elias should make such reconstruction of the world. Elias, as a prophet of Christ, has to consolidate Justice, Freedom and Equality among people. He criticizes wars, compulsions, plunders, contempt of man and suggests to base the relationships between states and nations on humanistic principles. The work “Elias’ cries” is an appeal to base the world and the life of human beings on the teachings of Christ. This work does not lose its’ urgency even today, 300 years after it was created.
