Šiame straipsnyje nagrinėjamas Europos švietimo dimensijos, kaip geografinio ugdymo turinio veiksnys, pateikiamųjų bendra samprata švietime, sudarytas ir analizuojamas geografinių europinių dimensijų modelis bei moksleivių požiūris į vertybes, siejamas su geresne Europos ateitimi.
European educational paradigms appear as a new educational concept based on dispersion of multicultural, democratic, pluralistic as well as civil values in all stages of education, with the help of contemporary educational technologies. The aim of the research - to analyse and give evaluation on new geography education on the basis of European dimensions. The model of European geography educational dimensions provides a differentiated concept of eurovalues in respect to different geographic areas. Geography dimensions are divided into three main groups: social-economical, geopolitical and cultural. By appropriate and effective implementation of them into geography teaching process, it would help students to better understand physical, social, economical as well as cultural European environment and its spacial structure, also to perceive Lithuanian, as a state’s, position in Europe and in the world.
