Rural Development 2025: Resilience to Global Challenges

Abstract

The aim of the international scientific conference is to promote interdisciplinary scientific discussions by presenting new ideas for agricultural development and rural development and their resilience in the context of global change. The main topics of the conference sessions were: Biosystems engineering for sustainability; A multifunctional approach to the sustainable use of biological resources; Climate-resilient agriculture and food technologies; Social research and innovation for strengthening rural areas. During the conference, a panel discussion on politics, business, and science was held on "The New Bioeconomy Strategy: European Goals and Lithuania's Contribution to the Development of an Innovative Bio-Industry."
