    Sportas tampa vis labiau globalus, sukuriantis sąlygas atletams siekti aukščiausių tikslų, nepaisant šalies, regiono ar žemyno. Sporto globalizacija suteikė galimybę kviesti kitų šalių sportininkus tam, kad sėkmingai rungtyniauti tarptautiniuose turnyruose, todėl tautybė ir šalies sportinis tapatumas tapo mažiau svarbus, o prioritetas teikiamas sportiniam meistriškumui ir gebėjimams. Eurolyga yra stipriausia profesionali vyrų krepšinio lyga Europoje, panaikinusi apribojimus užsienio žaidėjams. Šio tyrimo tikslas yra palyginti vietinių ir užsienio žaidėjų žaidimo veiklos rodiklius vyrų krepšinio Eurolygoje. Šiame tyrime taikyta varžybų duomenų statistinė analizė, kurios metu buvo siekta palyginti dvi Eurolygos krepšinio žaidėjų grupes: vietinius ir užsienio žaidėjus, t. y. krepšininkus, kurie žaidė kitoje nei savo tautybės komandoje. Imtį sudarė 588 rungtynės iš 2021–2022 m. reguliaraus sezono ir 612 rungtynių iš 2022–2023 m. reguliaraus sezono, kai dalyvavo 18 Eurolygos krepšinio komandų. Iš jų 2021–2022 m. sezoną tirti buvo 119 vietos žaidėjų (37 proc. visų), o 2022–2023 m. sezoną – 150 vietos žaidėjų (42,6 proc. visų). 2021–2022 m. sezoną 200 užsienio žaidėjų (63 proc. visų), 2022–2023 m. sezoną – 202 užsienio žaidėjai (57,4 proc. visų). Tyrimo rezultatai rodo, kad užsienio ir vietos žaidėjai skiriasi kiekybiniais žaidimo rodikliais ir tam tikrais žaidimo efektyvumo rodikliais. Užsienio žaidėjai pagal žaidimo rodiklius, rodančius jų indėlį į komandos veiklą, – laiką, bendrą taškų kiekį ir pelnomų taškų vidurkį – dominavo. Didesnis užsienio žaidėjų puolimo reitingas rodo jų kūrybingumą puolime ir didelį potencialą atliekant metimus, o geresnis jų gynybos reitingas rodo gynybos kokybę. Tai paneigia nuomonę, kad užsieniečiai pasirenkami puolimui, o vietos žaidėjai naudojami daugiau gynybai ir pagalbinėms užduotims. Efektyvumo rodiklių procentinė išraiška patvirtina jų lyderystę aikštėje ir rodo, kad užsienio žaidėjai dalyvavo didesniame komandos puolimų skaičiuje. Bendro pataikymo procentas parodo bendrą visų metimų efektyvumą metant iš skirtingų aikštės vietų.

    Competition in the national labor market, which is strengthening as globalization and structural employment disproportions intensify, encourages domestic companies to seek reserves for more effective human resource management as the only competitive advantage that cannot be copied. The aim of the research is to develop a comprehensive methodology for assessing the effectiveness of HR management at bakery companies as employers of a Ukraine’s priority industry, which is based on the provisions of the new (first) international human capital accounting standard ISO 30414:2018 and is implemented using system-structural, abstract-logical methods, as well as those of multidimensional statistical analysis and visualization of empirical data. The developed methodology will allow to determine an integrated indicator for the effectiveness of HR-management, which simultaneously performs the functions of controller and navigator of strategic management decisions in this area.

    The European Innovation Partnership (EIP) is considered to be a new phenomenon signalling political will, highly relevant issue in contemporary domain of discussions among practitioners and researchers. While practitioners lack experience, researchers make attempts to identify the factors that influence effectiveness of an innovation partnership, explore the indicators and techniques to determine and evaluate its effectiveness. Aim of the study presented in the article is to determine the external and internal factors that influence effectiveness of the European Innovation Partnership by analysing the operating conditions of an operational group of the European Innovation Partnership in Agriculture (EIP-AGRI). Expert evaluation was carried out by experts who have scientific and practical experience: scientists, policy makers, innovators, developing an innovation partnership. The force field analysis has shown that the number of negative factors of EIP effectiveness exceeds the number of positive factors, and the factors analysed and evaluated allow to identify potential negative consequences in a timely manner and provide the opportunity to predict effectiveness of the EIP-based projects.

    In the research it is proved that constant and progressive development of any country is impossible without providing economic and social security processes. The aim of the article is to determine the state and development trends of state and independent professional audit as a key imperative for the formation of economic security. It is justified that due to financial globalization, complexity and versatility of both interstate and domestic correlation, economy development dynamics are sensitive to crisis occurrences. It is concluded that nowadays due to complicated economic and social conditions questions of justification priorities of state and independent audit development during the formation of state’s economic security and the definition of alternative methods of business security are up to date. The state, dynamics and development trends of state and independent external audit were analyzed according to modern economy state. It was defined that audit develops through several key directions that are important for providing the economic security. To increase the positive value of audit in providing the economy security of the state to organizations alternative methods of business protection have to be used alongside with standard audit methods.

    The European Innovation Partnership in Agriculture (EIP-AGRI) was initiated by the European Commission for social benefits and the modernization of the overall economy through innovation. Better and faster results are expectingby fostering collaboration between scientists, agricultural advisors and farmers. The main problem is how to evaluate the effectiveness of innovation partnership projects in agriculture, with what indicators to define and measure it? To address this problem, a methodology for evaluating the effectiveness of innovation partnerships in agriculture hasneeded. This article presents the methodology of evaluation of the effectiveness of innovation partnership in agriculture, which details the selected evaluation indicators, determines their significance, and provides guidelines for the interpretation of the results of efficiency evaluation. The developed evaluation methodology has tested using the project data of EIP groups operating in Lithuania. The methodology for evaluating the effectiveness of innovation partnerships in agriculture is relevant fromboth a scientific and practical point of view.

    Learning approaches are among the critical factors that determine learning effectiveness. A typical learning approach that promotes student awareness will result in successful learning. This article examines the effectiveness of a metacognitive-based algebra learning from three aspects, namely: 1) learning outcomes; 2) student responses; and 3) student activities in learning algebra. The results show that all three aspects meet the effectiveness criteria of metacognitive approach in learning algebra.

    The issue of public sector management, especially management of public finance, identifies as extremely important in both theoretical and practical areas. Within the context of social and economic change, its meaning becomes crucial to the smooth and efficient functioning of public institutions including local government units. The search for optimal solutions in the sphere of local governments’ financial management and the implementation of new tools causes an increase in the efficiency of financial management at local and central levels, an increase in the rational use of public resources’ management, a transparency of expenditures, and above all, an improvement in the efficiency of public tasks that the state and local governments carry out for their citizens. The aim of this paper is to present three tools that have been introduced in recent years with the aim to increase the efficiency of public financial management. They are the performance budget, the individual debt index, and the long-term financial forecast of the LGU. Also, selected survey results are presented that show the opinion of local authorities on the implementation and usefulness of the tools mentioned

    Achieving to attract contemporary consumers, organizations apply various regular and innovative marketing tools and methods. Product placement can be named as an innovative marketing tool. According to S. K. Balasubramanian (1994) product placement is a paid product message aimed at influencing movie (or television) audiences via the planned and unobtrusive entry of a branded product into a movie (or television program); and one of the most recent marketing channels for this tool is video games. One of the most salient advantages of videogames as a marketing channel is their interactivity (Lee, Faber, 2007; Jin, Park, 2009). Various methods of the usage of product placement in video games are provided and analyzed in scientific literature (Frith, Mueller, 2010; Lehu, 2007; Glass, 2007). However, there are several researchers stating that the usage of product placement in video games is not always beneficial for a company (Kuster et al., 2010; Barejee, 2009; Williams et al., 2011). Organizations achieving to avoid potential risks of the usage of product placement should assess the effectiveness of this tool. The effectiveness of product placement was analyzed by such scientists as M. Yang et al. (2006), P. Walsh et al. (2008). The lack of scientific research on the effectiveness of product placement in terms of three core consumer-related aspects (cognitive, affective, and conative), in particular time frame, determined the framework of this research. Therefore, the problem of the research comes out of the question: what is the level of effectiveness of product placement in basketball video games after a period of time? The object of the research is the effectiveness of product placement in video games; the aim of the research is to determine the level of the effectiveness of product placement in the video game “NBA 2K13”.
