    The paper analyzes the ground-level managers’ activity, personal features and motivating factors. The authors highlight scientific literature on peculiarities of the ground-level managers’ activity and present the results of the survey on the ground-level managers’ personal features and motivating factors. In the surevy took part ground-level managers and middle-level managers working in an industrial company in Klaipėda.
