The scientific work „ The Phenomena of School Mastering “ was written by Jonas Laužikas in 1938. His full text was published in 1993. In this work he refers to works by scientists from Western Europe, first of all, Germany ( Kurt Levin, etc. School ), other psychologists and educationists. The scientist studied and established the personality development dependence upon the health, mental specific features of an individual, expedient training, social environment and other factors. The researches of the abilities of history students carried out by us in Lithuanian, Latvian, Polish and Russian Federation (Kaliningrad region) Secondary schools (768 interviewed ) showed that while studying the same modern history course, they are different. This difference was firstly decided by the organising the teaching and by social environment. This, in essence, coincides with the results of J. Laužikas.

Straipsnyje nagrinėjama viena iš aktualiausių specialiųjų pedagogų rengimo problemų - specialiojo ugdymo terminijos užsienio (anglų) kalba dėstymas ir mo kymasis. Pateikiama praktikoje aprobuota specialiojo ugdymo terminų grupavimo schema, padedanti studentams suprantamai išdėstyti terminiją ir ją suvokti. Naudojant šią metodiką praktiniame darbe pasiekti geri terminų suvokimo rezultatai: per 90 proc. Šiaulių universiteto Specialiosios pedagogikos fakulteto pirmakursių per du semestrus pakankamai gerai suprato reikiamus specialybės terminus. Raginama dėti daugiau pastangų klasifikuojant ir norminant specialiojo ugdymo bei jam artimų disciplinų terminus ir sąvokas.
