American Lithuanian Council is a Lithuanian political organization founded in 1940. A report, as one of the most widely spread document forms in the official communication, is analysed in the article integrated, and it is considered as a text entity. Generally, there are three types of reports: administrative, juridical, and diplomatic. ALT reports get closer to the administrative type, although they have particular peculiarities. Some of them are formal, others are more meaningful and revealing the recording of Lithuanian migrants' activity and the particularity of their objective language. A report reveals a congress process, texts of participant lists, texts of direction announcements and texts of resolution are given in its annex. Front language peculiarities there could be verb usage in the past tense mentioned. It can be connected with the established order to read the report and confirm it during the congress, that is the previous congress report. In texts, abbreviations are used widely, and they are declined. Such abbreviations are names of organizations, names, and local names.
