Today in a multicultural society we often look for signs of identity; we think about what differentiates and unites us with others and try to identify not only ourselves, but others as well. Since borders became open, the topic of national identity in our society has also become very important: who are we in a foreign country, and what do we think of foreigners in Lithuania? This is often discussed in our society and the responses are visible in the mass media and various public events. The problem of emigration and immigration is very relevant now. This paper attempts to describe the identity of one ethnicity, namely Arab, and uses the methodology of corpus linguistics.
