The constitutional features of the microstructure of the specialized lexicographic publi cations dedicated to the description of Belorussian prepositions are studied in this article. The attention is paid to the complex study of seven information zones – the nomination zone, the zone of variants, the zone of the grammatical information, the definition zone, the illustration zone, the zone of the stylistic information, the zone of the additional in formation. Methodological basis of the article rests on principles of scientific cognition, transformed according to the charachter of the material under analysis: systematic principle, principle of unity of form and content. Descriptive method of synchronic analysis is also employed in the article as well as instances of comparative method and componential analysis. Investigation of peculiarities of mega-, macro- and microstructures of dictionaries leads to optimisation of content and structure of other similar publications.
