„Kai vaikas ar suaugęs žmogus pražysta emociškai“: profesinė laimė socialiniame darbe

Šiomis dienomis Lietuvoje yra didelis poreikis socialinių paslaugų teikimo žmonėms, susiduriantiems su gyvenimo iššūkiais, norintiems konsultacijos, nukreipimo tinkama linkme, arba žmonėms, savarankiškai negebantiems išspręsti problemas, stokojantiems socialinių įgūdžių. Su tokiomis žmonių grupėmis dirba socialiniai darbuotojai – kvalifikuoti, aukštąjį mokslą baigę specialistai. Jų profesinė veikla reikalauja daug žinių, gebėjimų, nuolatinio tobulėjimo, emocinės tvirtybės matant sudėtingas ir skaudžias klientų situacijas, jų darbe netrūksta ir rizikos faktorių. Todėl svarbu suprasti, kas socialiniams darbuotojams teikia profesinę laimę, siekiant išlaikyti juos motyvuotus, emociškai ir fiziškai stiprius. Svarbu sudaryti sąlygas socialinių darbuotojų profesinės laimės sklaidai jų darbo aplinkoje - tarp bendradarbiaujančių organizacijų, institucijų, įtraukiant ir visuomenę, siekiant jų gerėjančios savijautos, o iš to išplaukia kokybiškas socialinių paslaugų teikimas. Tyrimo objektas - socialinio darbo profesinės laimės samprata žvelgiant iš socialinėje srityje dirbančių socialinių darbuotojų perspektyvos. Tyrimo tikslas - atskleisti socialinio darbo profesinės laimės sampratą žvelgiant iš socialinėje srityje dirbančių socialinių darbuotojų perspektyvos. Siekiant atskleisti tyrimo tikslą, išsikelti šie trys tyrimo uždaviniai:
- Atskleisti, ar ir kaip socialinis darbuotojas sieja profesinės laimės pojūtį su pagalba klientui.
- Atskleisti, ar ir kaip socialinis darbuotojas sieja profesinės laimės pojūtį su profesine organizacija.
- Atskleisti, ar ir kaip socialinis darbuotojas sieja profesinės laimės pojūtį su visuomenės nuostatomis į socialinio darbo sritį. Atskleisti socialinio darbo profesinės laimės sampratą žvelgiant iš socialinėje srityje dirbančių socialinių darbuotojų perspektyvos buvo pasirinkta per empirinį-kokybinį tyrimą. Tyrime dalyvavo 9 socialiniai darbuotojai – 8 moterys ir 1 vyras. Surinkti duomenys: 3 struktūrizuoti interviu ir 6 pusiau struktūrizuoti interviu. Socialinių darbuotojų pasakojimams analizuoti buvo pasirinktas interpretacinės duomenų analizės metodas. Tyrime socialinių darbuotojų profesinės laimės pojūtis pasireiškia trijose skirtingose grupėse. Pirma, socialinio darbuotojo profesinės laimės pojūtis - tai teigiami pokyčiai kliento gyvenime bei gaunamas grįžtamasis ryšys iš kliento, antra – tai organizacija, kurianti profesinės laimės pojūtį, trečia – visuomenės nuostatos, kuriančios profesinės laimės pojūtį.
There is a growing need of social services in Lithuania. Social services provide support and help for people facing various challenges or crises situations, some of them need short term, others long term services, consultations or guidance, support in problem solving, development of social skills. Social workers are qualified professionals with higher education, graduates of bachelor, master or even PhD studies. Their professional activities require special knowledge and wide range of skills, constant professional development, emotional strength, and courage in dealing difficult and painful clients’ situations and even life-threatening work conditions. It is important to understand and to reveal what are the resources of strength of social worker and what grants professional happiness in social work in order to stay motivated, emotionally and physically strong. It is important to conditions for the dissemination of professional happiness of social workers in their work environment - among cooperating organizations, institutions, including the society in order to improve their well-being, and as a result – it is high-quality social services. The aim of the research is to reveal the perception of professional happiness in social work from the perspective of social workers. The objectives of the research:
- To reveal whether and how professional happiness in social work is connected with a client
- To reveal whether and how professional happiness in social work is connected with organizational issues of social service setting;
- To reveal whether and how professional happiness in social worker is connected with society's attitudes towards social work profession. Methods. The qualitative research with semi structured in depth interviews was designed. 9 social workers (8 females and 1 male) were interviewed. Three out of nine social workers instead of face to face interview in written form answered the interview questions. An interpretive data analysis of the stories of social workers revealed three topics of professional happiness in social work. The first line of the story of professional happiness in social work had connection with positive change in client’s life, gratitude, and affirmative feedback from the client. The second line had connection with encouragement and trust of the colleagues, with support and backing of leader of the social service setting, adequate resources and balanced workload. The third line of professional happiness in social work.
