Baudžiamosios politikos europinės tendencijos ir iššūkiai
VDU Teisės fakultetas organizavo konferencija „Baudžiamosios politikos europinės tendencijos ir iššūkiai“. Šios konferencijos dėmesio centre – šiuolaikinės baudžiamosios politikos tendencijos, matomos Europos Sąjungos teisėje, Europos Žmogaus Teisių Teismo praktikoje, Europos valstybių novatoriškuose baudžiamosios politikos sprendimuose ir naujausiose mokslinėse diskusijose. Vis labiau intensyvėjanti Sąjungos ir valstybių narių teisinių sistemų sąveika ir jų veiksmingo bendradarbiavimo poreikis suteikia gerą progą akademinei – praktinei diskusijai, kurioje būtų nužymėtos šiuolaikinės europinės baudžiamosios politikos tendencijos.
The VMU Faculty of Law organised a conference "European Trends and Challenges in Criminal Policy". The conference focused on contemporary trends in criminal policy, as reflected in European Union law, the case law of the European Court of Human Rights, innovative criminal policy solutions of European countries and the latest scholarly debates. The increasing interaction between the legal systems of the Union and of the Member States and the need for effective cooperation between them provide a good opportunity for an academic-practical debate that would highlight contemporary trends in European criminal policy.
