Dokumentinių filmų peržiūra istorijos pamokose ugdant mokinių pilietiškumo gebėjimus
Šis tyrimas yra skirtas ištirti mokinių pilietiškumo gebėjimus naudojant audiovizualinę medžiagą, tai yra istorinius dokumentinius filmus. Dokumentiniai filmai kaip pilietiškumo ugdymo priemonė pasirinkta dėl to, kad ji padeda ugdyti asmenybės socialines, kultūrines ir moralines savybes, be to, sudaro galimybę susipažinti su kitų nuomone ir tai praplečia vaizdinių apie save, kitus ir pasaulį spektrą. Ugdo intelektualinius, loginio mąstymo įgūdžius, treniruoja dėmesį, atmintį, pastabumą, ugdo minties formulavimo, klausymo įgūdžius. Todėl šiame tyrime yra nagrinėjama kaip dokumentinių filmų peržiūros padeda ugdyti mokinių pilietiškumo gebėjimus. Tyrimo rezultatas gaunamas per mokinių refleksijas į kurias jie atsako peržiūrėjus dokumentinius filmus. Taip pat diskutuojant su mokiniais apie priespaudoje esančių žmonių motyvaciją ir laisvės svarbą. Todėl šio darbo problema: nepakankamai išnaudojamos priemonės mokinių pilietiškumui ugdyti. Darbo objektas: pilietiškumo ugdymas taikant filmų peržiūrą. Darbo tikslas: nustatyti kaip dokumentinių filmų peržiūra gali padėti ugdyti pilietiškumo gebėjimus. Tyrimo metu nustatyta mokinių pilietiškumo gebėjimai. Buvo įvertinta kaip mokiniai vertina laisvės svarba ir kaip elgtųsi prarastos laisvės situacijose. Tyrimo metu prieita prie išvadų, kad mokiniai yra empatiški asmenims siekiantiems laisvės. Laisvę mokiniai vertina kaip trapų reiškinį, kuri labiau suprantame tik jo netekę. Ištyrimo gautos medžiagos matosi, kad mokiniai yra gana patriotiškai nusiteikę ir laisvės svarbą suprantantis piliečiai.
The present study is designed to investigate pupils’ citizenship skills using audiovisual materials, i.e. historical documentary films. Documentary films have been chosen as a tool for developing citizenship skills due to them aiding in developing a person’s social, cultural, and moral qualities in addition to providing an opportunity to acquaint oneself with the opinions of others, which broadens the spectrum of views on oneself, others, and the world. Moreover, they develop intellectual and logical reasoning skills, train attention, memory, observation and listening skills, as well as the ability to formulate thoughts. Therefore, the present study examines how viewing documentary films contributes to the development of pupils’ citizenship skills. The result of the study is obtained through pupils' reflections received after viewing documentary films and during discussions about the motivation of people under oppression and the importance of freedom. Therefore, the research problem herein is as follows: the tools intended to develop citizenship skills are underused. The subject of the thesis is the development of citizenship skills through film viewing. The thesis aims at identifying how documentary film viewing can contribute to the development of citizenship skills. Throughout the study, the citizenship skills of pupils were determined. An assessment of how pupils value the importance of freedom and how they would behave in situations of loss of freedom was conducted. The study concluded that pupils are empathetic towards persons seeking freedom. Pupils consider freedom a fragile phenomenon, which is better understood only after it is lost. The material obtained from the research reveals that pupils are quite patriotic citizens who understand the importance of freedom.
