Račiūnaitė-Paužuolienė, Rasa
Rasa Račiūnaitė-Paužuolienė is Professor and a chief researcher of Vytautas Magnus University. Her research interests: urban studies, cultural, national and religious identity, family and gender studies, visual and religious anthropology, migration. Current projects: The international bilateral project "Ethnicity, religiosity, and national identity in Bulgaria and Lithuania (traditional elements and new transformations)" 2022-2024. She is the author of 2 monographs (The Lithuanian Family at the Crossroads of values (20th c. – early 21st c.) (2012), "Woman in Traditional Lithuanian Culture: The Customs of Life Cycle (end of the 19th - middle of 20th c.c.)" , about 90 articles, 4 didactical guidelines: 1) Cultural Anthropology (2013); 2) Language of Ethnology’s Speciality. (with E. Rimkutė, [Etnologijos specialybės kalba] (2011); 3) The Ancient Lithuanian World-View [Senovės lietuvių pasaulėžiūra], (with D. Senvaitytė, A. Vaicekauskas, (2001); 4) Baptism Krikštynos. - The leader of the project "Contemporary Studies of Family and Calendar Holidays". This project was co-funded by a grant (Sut. No. S-MOR-23-23) from The Research Council of Lithuania.

- The leader of the national research project “Cultural and Religious Identity of Lithuanians in England“. This project was co-funded by a grant (Sut. No. SA-1) from The Council for the Protection of Ethnic Culture.
- 2015 m. The leader of the project "Baltic Studies in Europe” to participate at the 11 international conference in Marburg, at Herder institute. This project was funded by a grant (No. KEL–167/2015) from The Research Council of Lithuania.
- 2013 and 2014. The coordinator of 2 projects. The first project was funded by the Ministry of Education and Science and the second -by the Research Council of Lithuania, attracting foreign scientists to visit and give lectures to Master's and PhD students of Comparative Culture Studies and Social Anthropology at VMU. Lectures were given by Oxford University's visiting professor, anthropologist dr. Robert James Parkin.
- 2011-2012. The leader of the national research project “The Lithuanian Family at the Crossroads of Values (20th c.- early 21st c.)“. This project was funded by a grant (No LIT-4-13) from The Research Council of Lithuania.
- 2010-2012. The coordinator (in Lithuania) in the international bilateral project “National, Cultural and Religious Identity in Bulgaria and Lithuania – from the Everyday Life to the State Policy” between Bulgarian Academy of Science, Institute of Folklore and Ethnology and Vytautas Magnus University, Department of Ethnology and Folklore. This research was funded by a grant from Lithuanian Academy of Science and Bulgarian Academy or Science.
