This is the first article to identify, describe and explore, in all its variety, the art contained in the church of Christ’s Transfiguration in Švetybrastis. It includes its altars with their paintings, sculptures and wood carvings as well as the pulpit, the organ and choir loft, the baptistery with its individual sculptures and paintings, liturgical appliances and textiles, bells, vessels for sacred water and other aspects. The aim of this article is to explore the various works of arts of this church, treating them as a whole to better analyze the alteration of the church’s interior and reveal its iconographical program. The legacy of the church is relatively rich, but the value of its art objects varies significantly. Their chronological distribution is wide, ranging from mid-eighteen to the end of the twentieth century.
