Straipsnyje nagrinėjami Lietuvos Sovietų Socialistinės Respublikos ir Lenkijos Liaudies Respublikos santykiai 1944–1953 m., siekiama nustatyti, ar Lietuvos lenkų padėtis buvo išskirtinė kitų sovietinių respublikų lenkų bendruomenių kontekste ir kokią įtaką LSSR lenkams ir jų padėties išskirtinumui turėjo Lenkijos atstovų pozicija.
The article addresses the relations between the Lithuanian Soviet Socialist Republic and the People’s Republic of Poland in 1944–1953; it seeks to determine whether the situation of Lithuanian Poles was exceptional in the context of Polish communities in other Soviet republics and what influence the position of the representatives from Poland had on the LSSR Poles and the exceptionality of their situation.
