The goal of the study was to assess the impact and interaction of organic selenium (Se) feed additive "ALKOSEL®", organic iodine (I) additive "Biojodis", and enzyme additive "Vilzim" on biochemical and morphological indices of blood as well as on the live weight of laying quails. 180 female quails were divided into 3 groups, 60 birds each. Group No. 1 was a control group. Feed of the quails in the group No. 2 was supplemented with the feed additive"ALKOSEL®" (inclusion rate 150 mg/kg feed) and additive "Biojodis" (inclusion rate 2 mg/kg feed). Feed of the quails in the group no. 3 was supplemented with 150 mg/kg selenium additive "ALKOSEL®", 2mg/kg"Biojodis" iodine additive and 20mg/kg enzyme additive "Vilzim". Results of the study indicate that applied feed additives had influence on the biochemical and morphological indices of quail blood. Live weight of quails in the trial groups, where feed additives were applied, was significantly increased in comparison to the control group.
