Abstract (en)
The Baltic contexts in Stanislaw Przybyszewski's works, revealing the originality of the writer's artistic talent, are evident at three levels of the relationship of his poetry with Scandinavian literature: M.Maeterlinck's and H.Ibsen's drama (theatre of cruelty, drama of soul); the psychological concept of art, prior to Z.Freud's theory, embodied in the sketch about O.Hanson; the theory of naked soul reflected in the artistic-aesthetic relations with E.Munk's art. Przybyszewski's functional poetry fits also in the system of Lithuanian-Polish literary relations (Lithuanian modernism, A.Garbačiauskas' works). The aforementioned contexts are unified by the comparative research method.
