Abstract: The connections between the lyrics of Judita Vaiciunaite and other genies are analyzed in the article, stressing that the most important of them is a short story. The most important models of a short story poem and their poetins are discussed. This type of poem got self- formed and anchored itself for a long time in the poetess's creation in the sinties. The lyric plot is typical of it, stressed ,,he" -,,she" situation, often inwrought by the pieces of dialogues, and reality is shown by the means of few details. Most often it is poetess's favourite space of the room, but some times there is wider space - the space of town or nature. The poems, having the spring of the short story features are analyzed in the article („ Pear trees in blossom", „A small epilogue", ,,Birthday candles", ,,A coffee pot with pastorales" and others), and the conclusion is drawn, that the nature of her lyrics, inclined towards mostly realized in the poems by Judita Vaiciunaite, having the features of the short story
