Lietuvos elachistidai (Lepidoptera, Elachistidae) : monografija

Abstract

The monograph presents long-term data on the leaf-mining moth family Elachistidae (Lepidoptera) of the Lithuanian fauna. The introductory parts give overview of research history in Lithuania and a thorough description of field and laboratory methods. Broad coverage of morphology and biology of elachistid moths is provided and species identification keys are compiled. All Lithuanian species have been described and illustrated. The studied specimens are enumerated indicating the location and time of their capture. Besides 39 elachistid species discovered in Lithuania, the work includes 20 more species that are distributed in the neighbouring countries and potential for Lithuania.
