Many scientific researches show that physical students' condition is getting worse. One of the main reason is students' inequality for a self-contained physical activity. The aim of the work was to research students' attitude and opinion on physical education, to clarify the motives of students' physical activeness, needs for physical self-development. The questionnaire method was employed to investigate 233 female students from Mykolo Romerio University that attended physical education practices as a free choice. It was established that future female lawyers' having positive attitude towards physical education. Students perceive the value of the self-education aspect but they do not see the aspect of sport like a possibility for self-expression by pursuing high results in sport. Every third female student exercise by herself and students' motivation of physical education more often are connected to health consolidation, training of physical features and perfection on body building. Students are lack of requirement on physical self-dependency and undeveloped motivation. The main reason of non physical self-development is poor motivation and too great study loads. It is possible to state that free choice physical education classes is not just an opportunity to recover after tended mental work, but also a possibility to act and form student's personal development and health, to gain knowledge and skills of physical self-dependency. What is more, it is believable that female behaviour might have change according to reached results, gained experience, received competence and emotional empathy. They might become more active.
