Abstract (en)
Due to the lack of awareness and actions taken in the field of environmental protection, ecosystem services in the society are considered as free of charge and inexhaustible; they are not properly recognised and valued. Human activities have a major an d, often, negative impact on ecosystems and their ecosystem services. To reduce such impact, it is important to develop environmental awareness of the society, cooperate, forecast and prepare specific plans for ecosystems and ecosystem services based on th e perception of the community. In general, there are no specific studies carried out to assess the impact of people’s encouragement and motivation on the preservation and development of ecosystem services in the context of global change.
