One of the least destructive ways of cleaning seeds is by using air. The process of aspiration cleaning, taking into account the velocity of moving air at different points, has been poorly considered. The studies in 2016 and 2017 were carried out at the Laboratory of the Agricultural Engineering and Safety Institute of Aleksandras Stulginskis University. Investigations were used to clean the wheat "Skagen" grains, which contained 2.8 percent of the chaff. Grain aerodynamic properties and humidity have been determined. During the aspiration treatment process, air flow velocities at seven cleaning points were measured and the air intake valve was changed during the cleaning of the grain. It has been determined that: The most suitable position for an aspiration cleaning valve when cleaning 14% of ,,Skagen” wheat grain is S2, since then the average air velocity at all measured points is 8.02 m s-1, about 47% of the chaff and about 0, 42% of low grain.
