Abstract (en)
Investigations were carried in the Laboratory of Agrobiotechnology and Institute of Biology and Plant Biotechnology in the Faculty of Agronomy at the Aleksandras Stulginskis University during 2014–2015. Research in vitro was carried out with Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni stems segments explants. Isolated explants were growing on Murashige ir Skoog (MS) nutrition medium with different content of growth regulators. Shoots formation frequency (%) and shoots from explant quantity (pcs.) were evaluated. Investigated combinations of growth regulators in medium influenced stevia shoot formation in vitro from 87.50 % till 100 %. The highest shoots number per explant of stevia has been establishing in medium with 1.0 mg l-1 BAP and 0.5 mg l-1 IAA.
