Abstract: The winter wheat cvs 'Ada', 'Kovas', 'Skagen', 'Agil' were grown in Jonavos area in 2014–2015 year. During storage period from October till January the amount of dry matter changes in the grains were estimated. As well standard method was used. Research results. Inthe begnning of storage (in October and November) the moisture of grains of all varieties significantly reduced. Ada variety’s grain moisture content decreased to 14%, Kovas’s – to 13.5%, Skagen’s – to 12.9%, Agil’s – to 13.9%. In period since December to January months Ada's and Kovas's grain moisture began to rise. Skagen’s grain moisture essentially increased in November and passed upward trend until January. Agil variety’s of grain moisture from harvesting substantially decreased during the whole storage time, but in January, along with other varieties, has increased and was 15.3%
