Soil samples were collected during expeditions in middle Lithuanian in the summer of 2017. The chief objective of this study was to estimate the changes in soil carbon and elements related to it, their interrelations in differently formed land-use systems. Lithuanian classification system is adopted by the characteristics of soils the FAO (1998) and is brought in 12 groups, where groups named similar word reference base. 1999 The new classification of soils, LTDK-99, came into force in Lithuania in accordance with the international FAO-UNESCO-ISRIC classification. The aim of the study was to evaluate the changes in the organic matter content of different ecosystem soils by classifying the soil according to the LTDK-99 classification. Soil samples for chemical analyses were ground. C contents were measured by an automatic analyser Vario EL III; P – spectrophotometrically with Carry 50 (VARIAN, Germany). The obtained data show that Corg has been found in agrarian soil use in the upper soil layer (Ap-0-15 cm), the highest (17.13 g kg-1), and the second one (A) is almost twice less (7.73 g kg-1). The natural concentration of carbon in the Dubravos Forest Enterprise is high 28.73 g kg-1 (Aeh 0-8 cm,), followed by much less 1.23 g kg-1 (E 8-25 cm).
