The investigation were caried out in the laboratory of Agrobiotehnology of Aleksandras Stulginskis university. For the studies, were selected Agastache foeniculum plants. The effects of cytokinin 6-benzylaminopurine (BAP) Agastache foeniculum callus induction were investigated, of two explants: leaf and cotyledons. The segments do not formed callus in medium without growth regulators. The most intensive induction of callus by cotyledons in medium with 0.5 mg l-1 BAP, 1.0 mg l -1BAP, 1.5 mg 1-1BAP and 2.0 mg 1 -1BAP, here callus formation was from 80 till 95 %. The most intensive callus genesis was observed on leaf segments in medium supplemented with 2.5 mg 1-1 BAP. The leaf explants formed callus on average 31 % rate. The best callus induction determinated from Agastache foeniculum cotyledons explants, which responds effectively.
