Pinus silvestris, Picea abies and Juniperus communis are the main forest tree species in Lithuania and Latvia. Most of the people do not know that these species have the pharmacological properties. In Scots pine pollen can be found all the substances necessary for the long life - proteins, amino acids, minerals, enzymes, coenzymes, nucleic acids, monosaccharides, polysaccharides, etc. It is possible to suppress cancer cells using pine pollen. Avoiding of damaging normal cells, when in clinical practice chemical drugs often does not distinguish strangers of normal cells, and the outcome of treatment leads to a general deterioration of the situation. It is possible to suppress cancer cells using pine pollen. All species of spruce has bactericidal effect. In nutrients of Norway spruce buds and cones have antispasmodic, desensitizing, diuretic effect, improve hematopoiesis, regulates metabolism. Also Indians their sick ones with wounds, skin and bone joint diseases tended to carry to the juniper stands, where the air was saturated with healing juniper volatile flavoring. Used externally juniper oil reduces oily skin, acne and pustular rash. Juniper essential oil has cleansing, slag and liquid wasting, an antibacterial effect.
