The article analyses the problem of the development of social business in rural areas. Thus the goal of the study is to analyze the development of the theoretical aspects of the rural areas development and set up social business development opportunities. To achieve the goal, the task after the examination of the objective tasks of the rural development factors and examination of the current state of the social business, is to provide opportunities for social business development in rural areas. The analysis and synthesis of scientific literature, the analysis of the application and comparison of grouping and graphic imaging methods are used. Formation of rural development must be based on a set of strategic insights, responsive to the long-term perspective. A social business is one of the alternatives, which is becoming an increasingly important tool for reducing the gap between the government, business and communities and provides opportunities to effectively respond to social needs and address public concerns. In order to strengthen the development of rural areas, each rural area must have its strategic framework for the development of the area, which reflects the aspirations of the future and the ways of their implementation alongside with the means.
