Aquaculture - one of the four main branches of the fisheries sector in Lithuania, with a significant impact on the Lithuanian economy, the economic and social aspects, helping to expand the range of fish, employ rural people. In this work are compared similar segments of aquaculture: TVEND vs UASD and TVENM vs UASM, investigated the most influencing factors of production realization of these segments, set out the linear dependence of the factors, verified communication reliability and assessed the most interrelated indicators. The investigation showed that in TVEND segment predominant very strong correlation between sales volume and number of employees suggests that increasing the amount of sales operators employ more workers. In this segment, the number of working men’s dependence on the sales volume is higher than women’s, possibly due to the fact that the work in TVEND segment requires a lot of physical strength. In large farms sales amount is more influenced by the number of employees and other factors, such as new technologies, specific feed, the EU support, the supply, the demand for fresh or processed fish (without the demand for raw fish develops the supply of certain refined products), climate and many other factors. In TVENM segment, it was noticed that the volume of realization is highly dependent on the number of employees and the area of the pond. Small businesses are investing less in innovative technology, aquaculture is often a secondary activity, and there is no need for investment, because in accordance with the traditional pond aquaculture investments in small entities (TVENM) a little payback. In UASD segment, there is strong dependence between the number of employees and sales volume, the sales volumes are more influenced by men. UASM segment is mainly influenced by sales value per employee and UAS volume.
