Consumer right protection is fast becoming a central discuss in both the academic sphere and in the design of organizational strategy and there is therefore a need to understand the reasons for this. There is also a need to clearly outlay what consumer right protection means and how it is achieved. Hence this paper sought to carry out an overview of who a Consumer is and what consumer interests means and then outline the importance and need for Consumer Protection and what activities and actions are inherent. There was a need to further ascertain the Goals of consumer protection laws and finally outline the best practices of Consumer protection regulations and some meaningful conclusions drawn.
