Abstract: Specimens was welded by electrodes which content has various grain size made from crashed tungsten carbide tools. These electrode was prepared in JSC „Anykščių varis“ (Lithuania). Expe-riments made in tribology laboratory of Aleksandras Stulginskis University (Lithuania). Abrasive wear investigation was made according to ASTM G64-94 standard. Also was measured welded layers hardness and composition. Abrasive wear test was made by simulation of low and high con-tact pressure. By these experiments was founded influence of abrasive wear resistance by tungsten carbide grain size
