Abstract: Agriculture, farmers' farms in particular, are characterised by higher human risk compared to other business sectors. Higher risk profile in determined by the particular nature of this sector which, in turn, is determined by dependence of farms on natural, climatic conditions, work with the biological assets. Moreover, human resource risk assessment and management are very important in farmers' farms in the context of increasing rural to urban migration of the rural area residents, youth in particular, emerging problems of continuity of farm activity due to increase in farmers' age. Farmer's education, experience and approach towards risk influence farm profitability considerably, as the farmer is the sole decision maker in the farm. The study identifies key factors of human resource risk, develops the methodology for assessment of such risk, and provides main stages of human resource risk management in the farmers' farms
