Abstract: The paper presents the influence of extra weights and tire pressure of tractor John Deere 6210R on the deformation and supporting surface area. During the study, air pressure in the tires has been changed from 220kPa to 70 kPa, in every 30 kPa. Lowest deformation of front / rear tires was found at the maximum air pressure and lowest load. When the front-wheel load was increased by 24% and pressure was reduced up to 70 kPa, the deformation of front tire increased by 50% and the deformation of rear tire increased by 33%. When tire deformation is changing, the changes of supporting surface area are linear, and this does not depend on the deformation caused both by ver-tical load or tire pressure
