Abstract: Purpose. To found for the harvester operator or agriculturist the easy, exact, without the special machines and quickly methodology for grain losses during combine harvesting. Methods. Analyze of the determination methodologies for harvester grain losses. Results. It is necessary, the harvester efficiency is to agree with agrotechnical requisition and the harvester grain losses is minimum. There are different methodologies for grain losses determination in harvester. We are analyzed these methodologies and made the inference, that the used methodologies for determination of grain losses in the combine harvesting are needed to use the dear instrument, the essential time and manpower resources consumption or are difficult in practice. It is suggested to use the methodology for determination of grain losses in combine harvester with using of the wire frame (10x10 cm) on the field (according to layout) for the calculation of grains. Presented also expression for determination of losses of grain on the amount of grains on a registration area. Conclusion. The harvester operator or agriculturist is to able to define the grain losses during grain crops harvesting according to this methodology with high exactness, speed and without the special machines
