Abstract: Due to the continuous development of the industry, intense cities and towns in the construction of highly contaminated wastewater generated, which must be cleaned. Wastewater treatment is becoming more and more important, the growth of the industry and the expansion of cities. Improperly installed, controlled and uncontrolled wastewater treatment plant is a threat to human health and the environment because the waste water can be contaminated by mineral, organic, bacteriological contaminants. Researched the topic is relevant, because currently, the majority of pollutants into surface water bodies fall along with the waste water so it is important to identify and investigate the influence of substances harmful to water quality in order to avoid environmental problems. Study objective - To assess Marijampoles urban wastewater treatment plant performance
