Abstract: The first natural Japanese and European larch hybrids discovered English scientists Henry A. and M. Floyd in 1900. In Scotland, the Castle Dunkeld , where self- growing Japanese larch with a group of European larch had the right conditions to cross each other (Larsson - Stern , 2003) . This study aims to determine the influence of initial planting density and arrangement of places larch dendrometriniams and stem quality indicators. Measurements were carried out in 2013 autumn - Dubrava Experimental Training Forest Enterprise, Vaišvydavos district with 30 years of hybrid larch density tests. Analyzing larches were measured densities of different areas: 500, 1000, 1500, 2000 , 3000, 5000 , 10000 units / ha. Maximum heights were recorded 1500 units / ha and 5000 units / ha plots and 25.0 - 24.8 meters. The highest average measured diameter larch was the area where the trees grow 1500 units / ha density , it reaches 29.5 cm . After the volume dependence of the initial density calculations show that the density of different areas of timber volume varies. The largest volume of larch trees growing in 1500 pieces / ha density 0.78 - m3
