Common Scot pines take 35,8 % of the whole area in Lithuania. These are arboreta, mostly concentrated in the southern or southeastern parts of Lithuania, which take the largest area. Object of the thesis - non smooth cutting zones of mature pines appeared after occasional cuttings in Nemenčinė forestry region, Liepynė, Nemenčinė, Purviniškės forestry districts in the year 2006–2012. The cutting zones in the researched pieces of land were of different sizes and configurations. Each non smooth cutting area was divided into equal distances in diagonal directions while trying to do accounting as well as to evaluate their quality. As our considered growing areas were gappy or of medium density, the sites were chosen of 20 m² or 10 m². The following assessments were performed in each of the recording sites: spontaneous type and their abundance, vitality of spontaneous type, the level of aggression while speaking aboutgrass cover. It was found out that all analyzed factors: partial soil preparation method, the level of aggression while speaking about grass cover, pine and birch growing and density affect each other additionally.
