Abstract: Experimental results of biogas production from sugar beet silage is presented in this paper. During research sugar beet silage was used to produce biogas under laboratory conditions, maintai-ning the temperature of 37 °C. There were used 4 different reactor organic loads: 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 kg / m3∙d. The biogas yield from 1 kg of biomass was 128-146 l and 1 kg from dry matter 793-904 or 838-956 from the 1 kg of dry organic matter. Concentration of methane in the biogas was 61.2 to 65.9% and their energy value - 21.6 to 23.3 MJ / m3. The extracted biogas has a very low hydrogen sulphide concentration (it is less than 100 ppm)
