Abstract: The main task of the research is to analyse the efficiency of carbon dioxide (CO2) absorption in water scrubber. During experiments the CO2 concentration (4,2 – 20,3 %) was maintained while the water flow was changed. The CO2 concentration changes were measured by Biogas5000 analyser at the gas outflow from water scrubber. Results show that the efficiency of CO2 absorption depends on water flow and increases with increasing water flow rate. The efficiency ranged from 0,006–0,016 l gas / l scrubber at 2 l/min water flow to 0,027–0,148 l gas / l scrubber at 8 l/min water flow
