Abstract: This paper provides the study of city sewage treatment biogas plant energy efficiency. The bi-ogas plant during the year recycled 182500 tons sewage sludge using 1.4 kg/m3∙d organic volumet-ric load. From this raw material during the year is produced of 2.74 million. m3 of biogas that con-tains 68% methane. Produced biogas energy potential is about 17.79 million. kWh. Biogas plant's annual heating energy consumption of 7.87 million. kWh, and electricity - 856 thousand. kWh. The balance between energy potential of biogas plant and energy consumption gives the energy efficiency factor of 1.93
