Experiments were carried out in 2011 in Vidmantas Kvedaras intensive farms which were located in Kėdainiai district. While performing the research there was taken two – factors experment. The factor A – was the fertilization, and the second factor B – was the type of carrots‘. Furthermore, to implement the main fertilization there were chosen three variants of the fertilization ( 2011 April 20th):Variant 1. Basic – not fertilized;Variant 2. There were used such fertilizers as:Ekoplant (250 kg ha-1), Perkla (250 kg ha-1), Humifirst 2011 July 17th (800 kg ha-1);Variant 3. E There were used such fertilizers as: Ekoplant (250 kg ha-1), Perkla (250 kg ha-1), Cropcare (2011 November 21st) (800 kg ha-1). For the additional fertilization in both variants there were used the same fertilizers:– Yara Liva Nitrabor, the green nutrifol and boron. Also, for the research there were selected several types of edible carrots: ‘Nandrin‘ F1, ‘Nerac‘ F1, ‘Nepal‘ F1, ‘Nipomo‘ F1. There was distinguished that complex fertilizers such as: Ekoplant, Perkla, Humifirst (2011 July 17th) and Ekoplant, Perkla, Cropcare (2011 November 21st) significantly increased the yield of carrots. Furthermore, there was defined the carrots‘greatest total productivity using the type ‘Nepal‘ F1 (74,1 t ha-1) wile fertilizing with complex fertilizers Ekoplant, Perkla, Humifirst (2011 July 17th). Also, there was determined significantly the greatest marketable productivity using the carrots‘ type ‘Nepal‘ F1 (66,4 t ha-1) while fertilizing with complex fertilizers Ekoplant, Perkla, Humifirst 2011 July 17th. In addition, the carrots‘ types ‘Nepal‘ F1 (65,3 t ha-1) and ‘Nipomo‘ F1 (63,5 t ha-1) were fertilized with Ekoplant, Perkla, Cropcare (2011 November 21st).
