Abstract: Investigations were carried out during 2012–2013 in the laboratory of Agrobiotechnology and Biology and Plant Biotechnology Institute of Aleksandras Stulginskis University. The effect of auxins on rooting of miscanthus microshoots was investigated. The current study indicates that in medium without growth regulators rhyzogenesis of microshoots can be inducted in low frequency. It has been established that for rhizogenesis induction auxin NAA was more suitable in comparisson with IAA. The most intensive rooting frequency of miscanthus microshoots was observed in the nutrient medium supplemented with 0.2 mg l-1 NAA
