dc.description.abstractAprūpinimas maistu ilgą laiką buvo ir iki šiol yra pasaulinė problema – Jungtinių Tautų Maisto ir žemės ūkio organizacijos duomenimis įvertinta, kad šiuo metu pasaulyje badauja apie mi-lijardas žmonių. Nors nagrinėjama aprūpinimo maistu užtikrinimo problema yra aktuali Lietuvai ir tampa dar aktualesnė pokriziniu laikotarpiu, jai tirti literatūroje skiriamas palyginti nedidelis dėme-sys. Tyrimo tikslas – išanalizavus aprūpinimo maistu užtikrinimo makroekonominius veiksnius, įvertinti aprūpinimo maistu užtikrinimą Lietuvoje. Siekiant numatyto tikslo, įgyvendinami tokie už-daviniai: parinkti aprūpinimo maistu užtikrinimo makroekonominius rodiklius ir įvertinti aprūpini-mo maistu užtikrinimą Lietuvoje. Tyrimo metodika – Lietuvos ir užsienio autorių mokslinės litera-tūros analizė, joje pateikiamų teiginių ir apibendrinimų grupavimas, sisteminimas bei lyginamoji analizė, duomenų analizė, remiantis statistiniais metodais. dc.description.abstractIn order to assess the food security there are a lot of different methodologies, their choice depends on the purpose of analysis, data access and other factors. Aim of the research – to deter-mine the situation of food supply. Research methods: review of Lithuanian and foreign scientific li-terature, grouping, systematization, comparative analysis, statistical analysis. Macroeconomic indi-cators that are analyzed on the basis of food availability, accessibility and consumption dimensions were selected for food security analysis in Lithuania. In order to assess food security at the level of macro-economic these indicators are examined below: GDP per capita; consumer and food price indices; food consumption per capita; agricultural balance. GDP per capita during the period had an upward trend (with the exception of the economic crisis in years), reflecting the increasing level of development and increasing food security at the national level. Increasing GDP, inflation grew in-evitably and fluctuated sharply over the period. The results suggest that in the period of 2002–2011, the main food security issues were lack of availability of food options, which led to reduction in personal income, the rising cost of food and soft drinksen
