Abstract: This study analyzes the CSC “Arvi cukrus” sugar production sub productliming material. Main study target chemical composition of liming material and its usability and compliance with the requirements for ecological production. In liming material found 66.6% of dry mass and 7.50% of organic matter with pH 8.9, 33.38% of calcium, 0.80% of magnesium, 0.42% of sulfur, 0.41% of phosphorus, 0.34% of nitrogen, 0.22% of iron, 0.13% of potassium, 0.014% of sodium, 14.7 mg kg-1 of boron, 173.0 mg kg-1 of manganese, 9.05 mg kg-1 of copper and 21.27 mg kg-1 zinc. According to the chemical composition of liming material, it can be used as an optional organic fertilizer for soil material useful for most agricultural crops.In liming material found 0.14 mg kg-1 of cadmium, 1.62 mg kg-1 of nickel, 2.71 mg kg-1 of lead and 4.63 mg kg-1 of chromium and 0.021 mg kg-1 of mercury.This sugar industry subproduct is not contaminated with any heavy metals and it is safe to use this liming material as a plant fertilizer. Liming material meet and fulfill the strict requirements of reglament Commission in charge of Regulation (EC) No 889/2008 and it can be certificated as ecological organic production and used in ecologic production farms
